Loyal followers of the actress are calling for that a individual who leaped a barricade and seized the celebrity during Thursday's Wicked: For Good debut be arrested or removed from Singapore.

A circulating clip reveals the person identified as Johnson Wen bypassing photographers and rushing toward Grande while the cast made its way down a promenade flanked by onlookers.

Fellow actress Cynthia Erivo immediately pulled the stunned actress away from Mr Wen, who was seen being led away of the gathering by security officers.

Mr Wen shared on Instagram late on Thursday that he was "let go after being taken in", though court documents indicated that he was due to attend court on the next day. It is unknown if he was charged.

Pattern of Event Invasions

This is not an isolated incident for Mr Wen, who calls himself a "Troll Most Hated", has crashed a celebrity gathering. His Instagram feed contains clips of him disrupting other high-profile occasions, including jumping on stage at Katy Perry's Sydney show in June this year and in a like fashion during The Chainsmokers performance in the area last year.

"Steps should be implemented applied against him as this is obviously a punishable act," stated an Instagram commenter, in a response to a video Mr Wen uploaded of his actions.

"You've done this repeatedly... how are you not behind bars?" one Instagram user questioned.

Supporters Express Concern Over the Star's Well-being

Many supporters blamed Mr Wen for "re-traumatising" Grande, who had revealed suffering from PTSD after a suicide bomb attack at the finale of her May 2017 show in Manchester, resulting in the death of 22 people and harming numerous individuals.

"The star has endured numerous terrifying experiences... including the Manchester tragedy, and you believed breaching security was amusing?" wrote one more response on Instagram.

A number of fans also criticised event staff at the gathering for not being adequately prepared; while some requested online networks to block Mr Wen's videos.

Aftermath and Premiere Information

In videos circulating online, Grande appeared startled when she was approached by the man. Her fellow actors Michelle Yeoh and Erivo can be seen comforting her while Mr Wen was led out by guards.

Grande has not issued a statement on the event, and the remaining proceedings proceeded as normal.
