The United Kingdom is prepared to move forward with employing the full worth of seized Russian funds to aid Ukraine's military campaign, PM Sir Keir Starmer has declared.

In a joint statement, the heads of state of the Britain, the French Republic, and the Federal Republic of Germany stated that this joint measure would escalate tension on Russia's leader Vladimir Putin and compel Russia to participate in talks.

They added that the initiative would be implemented in strong partnership with the America.

UK restrictions have frozen over £25bn of Russia's resources since Russia began its comprehensive attack against the Ukrainian nation in 2022. However, up to this point, funds allocated to the Ukrainian government using Russia's assets had exclusively been sourced from earnings and returns earned on them.

Sir Keir informed President Volodymyr Zelensky that the UK, France, and the Federal Republic of Germany were in agreement in their goal to advance efforts toward employing the total worth of the immobilized Russian sovereign assets to conclude the conflict.

He stated that additional sanctions over the next period would heighten the tension on the Russian government.

This declaration is subsequent to European officials convened in the Danish capital recently to consider employing frozen Russia's assets for a €140 billion loan to Ukraine.

Recently, US President Donald Trump called on G7 allies to confiscate or utilize frozen Russia's holdings, according to media sources.

The total of immobilized Russia's assets in the Europe is estimated to be almost €211bn.

Moscow carried out widespread missile and drone strikes all over the Ukrainian territory on recently, leading to electricity outages in large parts of Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, and eight other regions.
